Notes The Brubaker influence is apparent in Jay Weber's lidded container. Weber has adapted the Brubaker signature form, the saffron container, to serve as a symbolic wedding cup. Over the stem of the turned wood cup there are two wood rings that cannot be removed. Although they rotate freely, they also rest flush in a niche in the base. Weber says these rings symbolize a happily married couple because they are close together and compatible, but yet free and separate individuals.
